In July 2024, following a tragic knife attack in Southport, England, Andrew McIntyre ignited chaos by launching a Telegram channel named “Southport Wake Up.” The platform became a hub for his violent rhetoric, laden with anti-Islamic, antisemitic, and anti-immigrant sentiments, as he rallied supporters to action towards a local mosque, calling for “war.”

Last week, McIntyre, 39, faced justice and was sentenced to seven years' imprisonment after pleading guilty to inciting violent disorder, criminal damage, and possession of a knife.
