Child Exploitation Charges Against British Man Linked to Mock Wedding at Disneyland

Jacky Jhaj, a notorious British paedophile on the sex offenders register, has been charged in France regarding a mock wedding he organized for a nine-year-old girl at Disneyland Paris. This incident follows various past exploitative performances he orchestrated involving minors, raising serious concerns over how he repeatedly evaded the law.

A British man, Jacky Jhaj, aged 39, has been apprehended and charged after he orchestrated a mock wedding in which a nine-year-old Ukrainian girl was intended to play the bride at Disneyland Paris. Previously convicted of sexual offenses involving minors, Jhaj's recent activities have alarmed authorities. French police arrested him following reports from an actor hired to portray the bride’s father at the staged event held on a Saturday.

In the wake of Jhaj’s investigation, it came to light that he previously hired numerous child actors for a staged film premiere in 2023, soliciting children as young as six to participate. These children were reportedly recruited from casting agencies without full disclosure of Jhaj's dubious background. Teenage girls involved in these productions recounted being encouraged to act inappropriately towards Jhaj while being kept in the dark regarding his identity.

Beyond the wedding fiasco, Jhaj’s troubling history includes footage captured of him inappropriately presenting gifts to children waiting for dance auditions. The French court charged him with fraud, breach of trust, money laundering, and identity theft. Investigators revealed that he had been disguised to appear unrecognizable during his endeavors.

Jhaj's past includes a significant history of legal troubles; he has been on the sex offenders register since 2016 and had served time for similar crimes. After his release, he managed to produce several child-centric events, which somehow gained immense online traction. A YouTube account associated with his activities amassed over 12 million subscribers before scrutiny led to the removal of disturbing videos, including content featuring one of his former victims.

The proposed mock wedding at Disneyland was purportedly planned at a staggering cost exceeding €130,000 (£110,000), raising questions about the funding sources and management of such events. Notably, the Generalitat stated that the young girl involved was not a victim of physical or sexual harm during the incident, although the exploitation remains a matter of grave concern.

The UK's Metropolitan Police have stated they are coordinating with French authorities as they continue to investigate Jhaj's actions, which have raised alarm bells internationally about his persistent breaches of the Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
