Andrew Tate, the infamous influencer, has been caught speeding in Romania, igniting fresh headlines amid ongoing legal troubles.

Andrew Tate, the divisive figure known for his luxury sports cars, has been apprehended by Romanian authorities for exceeding the speed limit, clocking in at 196 km/h (121 mph) in a zone designated for a maximum of 50 km/h. The incident took place in the village of Bujoreni, approximately 184 kilometers from Bucharest, where police issued him a fine of £310 ($420) and suspended his driving privileges for 120 days due to the gravity of the offense.

Despite being caught nearly four times over the speed limit, Tate has vehemently denied the allegations, claiming he would challenge the speed measurement in court. In a social media post, he suggested that the radar gun used may not have been properly calibrated, insisting he never drives recklessly.

The self-styled misogynist and brother Tristan Tate are currently embroiled in serious legal matters, including charges related to rape and human trafficking in Romania, alongside separate allegations in the UK and US. Both have refuted any wrongdoing and are permitted to travel throughout Romania and abroad under court-imposed conditions while awaiting trial.

This recent speeding violation adds to Tate's history of traffic offenses in Romania, with reports noting prior incidents, including a 2021 citation for speeding at 138 km/h. Tate has also had multiple sports cars seized in 2023 amid ongoing legal cases against him.

Publicly, Tate has criticized law enforcement in the UK for rejecting bribes during traffic stops, describing their stance as outrageous. He argues that these experiences contributed to his relocation to Romania in 2017, where he claims corruption is part of daily business dealings.

As the Tate brothers brace for their future trials—facing 21 criminal charges in the UK relating to their alleged offenses—Tate continues to post extensively about his lifestyle and beliefs, emphasizing the perceived disparities faced by the elite versus the general public.
