The majestic Bayesian superyacht tragically sank off the coast of Sicily in 2024, taking the lives of seven individuals. A recent investigation by British maritime authorities has conducted a thorough examination of the incidents leading up to the disaster, attributing the sinking to a powerful gust of wind. According to the findings, the yacht capsized within minutes of the crew becoming aware of the imminent storm, following a decision by a young deckhand to film the approaching squall instead of promptly alerting the captain.
