US Policy Sparks Concern Over Global Stability, Warns Ukraine's Ambassador

Ukraine's Ambassador to the UK, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, has issued a stark warning regarding the perceived impact of US foreign policy, suggesting that it is "destroying" the established world order. His statements come in the wake of recent tensions between Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump, which notably intensified during an Oval Office meeting that appeared to sour relations.

Speaking at a conference at Chatham House in London, Zaluzhnyi emphasized that the actions of the United States threaten the stability of the entire Western alliance. He remarked, "We see that it is not just the axis of evil and Russia trying to revise the world order, but the US is finally destroying this order." His comments reflect growing unease in Kyiv about the state of US-Ukrainian relations, particularly after Washington temporarily halted military aid and intelligence sharing to Ukraine amid ongoing peace talks with Russia.

The ambassador underscored that the US's willingness to engage with Russia—where President Vladimir Putin, whom he labeled a "war criminal," continues to exert military pressure—comes at a significant cost. He warned that NATO could face existential threats if the US does not adhere to its commitments, and suggested that Moscow's ambitions might extend beyond Ukraine, potentially targeting Europe next.

Despite Zelensky's desire to promptly end the conflict, concerns are mounting regarding the concessions that the Trump administration might be willing to make to ensure peace, especially in light of recent negotiations that excluded Ukrainian representatives.
