CCTV footage captured a dramatic scene in a liquor store in Rajasthan where a leopard slashed the air and sprinted toward the sales team, striking a vendor and moving quickly into the store’s interior.
The feline had already tightened a grip on a cleaner earlier that day, leaving services staff breathing a sigh of relief when the animal fled toward the counter. In a tense window, employees managed to exit the shop while help rushed inside, locking doors and trapping the plant‑like predator.
Helpless for hours, the leopard was finally tranquilised by officials after nearly five hours of restraining attempts. The staff guided the animal into a temporary hold and nine roads until a calm was achieved, after which the leopard was released back into its native habitat by animal‑guardians.
