Yung Filly has claimed strong positive interaction with the woman he is accused of raping during a 2024 Australia tour.
During a hearing at the District Court of Western Australia, 30‑year‑old Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos – better known as Yung Filly – has pleaded not guilty to six counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and one count of strangulation.
He told the court that he “fancied” a 20‑year‑old woman when they met at a club in Hillarys, a Perth suburb, and that later the two shared “good vibes” in his hotel room—though he denies any inappropriate contact after touching her waist.
The alleged assault allegedly took place in September 2024 while Yung Filly was touring Australia, after performing at a nightclub in the coastal area. The court heard that the pair had also engaged in consensual sex before the incident, at which point the woman told him to stop.
Yung Filly, a popular YouTube and TikTok star, has a 1.8 million subscriber YouTube channel and 3 million TikTok followers, plus a substantial following on Instagram. He has been on bail the entire time and was allowed to fly back to the UK for four months in September, before returning to Western Australia to face the trial.
