Diddy Faces New Lawsuit Over Alleged Balcony Incident
Fashion designer Bryana Bongolan claims Sean "Diddy" Combs dangled her from a 17th-floor balcony amid a string of serious allegations.
Sean “Diddy” Combs is embroiled in fresh legal trouble, as a new lawsuit has emerged alleging he dangled a woman from a 17th-floor balcony during a tumultuous confrontation. The plaintiff, fashion designer Bryana "Bana" Bongolan, claims the incident occurred in 2016 while she was at the apartment of Diddy’s girlfriend at the time, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura. This lawsuit marks the latest in a troubling series of legal allegations against the music mogul, with more than two dozen lawsuits accusing him of offenses ranging from sexual assault and drugging victims to physical violence.
Diddy is currently facing federal charges connected to racketeering and sex trafficking, allegations he continues to vehemently deny. A representative for Combs publicly stated that he "firmly denies these serious allegations" and is confident they will be proven baseless in court. According to Bongolan's lawsuit, the night of the alleged incident began with Diddy banging on the door and shouting. After entering the apartment, he is said to have confronted Bongolan while she was on the balcony and then, in an aggressive manner, reportedly grabbed her and lifted her off the ground while dangling her over the edge.
Bongolan describes her struggle against his grasp, which she alleges was ultimately overwhelming due to her lighter frame of approximately 100lbs. She claims that Ms. Ventura intervened, prompting Diddy to pull her back over the ledge forcefully, slamming her onto patio furniture in the process. The lawsuit seeks $10 million in damages, emphasizing a history of intimidation and threats that defined Bongolan's experiences with Combs since they first met.
This incident aligns with previous allegations made in a separate lawsuit by Cassie Ventura against Combs, which dealt with severe claims of abuse and sex trafficking. That lawsuit mentioned an episode similar to Bongolan's experience, underscoring a pattern of alleged violent behavior. Bongolan also contends that throughout their professional relationship, which included work on projects like clothing lines and album cover art, she was subjected to consistent terror and abuse.
Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after being denied bail on multiple occasions. The unfolding legal saga raises critical questions about the musician's future as the court proceedings advance.
