In a Facebook update, law enforcement expressed their hopes for the safety of the driver and any passengers. Witnesses at the scene reported seeing the driver along with two others depart after the vehicle overturned, raising questions about the events leading up to the incident.

By Sunday, the driver contacted authorities to report their status, confirming that they were unharmed. The case has intrigued the local police, prompting them to collaborate with prosecutors on the investigation.

The driver of the tow truck dispatched to recover the campervan remarked to Ici news that in over two decades of experience, he had never encountered a scene quite like this. Meanwhile, inquiries have been sent to the Saint-Malo prosecutor's office for further comment on the ongoing investigation.
