**Container Ship Crashes into Norwegian Man's Garden**
A startling incident in Norway sees a man confront a huge cargo ship resting in his garden.
In the small community of Byneset, near Trondheim, Norwegian resident Johan Helberg experienced an unexpected morning when a 135-meter (443-foot) cargo ship crashed into his front garden. The incident occurred at around 5:00 AM local time, but it was not Helberg who discovered the oversized visitor first; rather, it was his concerned neighbor, Jostein Jorgensen. Alarmed by the noise of the approaching vessel, Jorgensen ran to Helberg's house in an attempt to alert him.
"It was so unreal," Helberg recounted to TV2 after finally seeing the ship. He described the shock of finding the huge container ship, known as the NCL Salten, which had veered off course while traveling south-west through the Trondheim Fjord, with 16 crew members on board at the time. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
Jorgensen explained that he initially thought Helberg might be outside but was astonished to find no sign of life. After ringing the doorbell multiple times, he had to call Helberg to make sure his friend was safe.
Norwegian police are currently investigating the circumstances that led to the crash, which brings back memories of a previous incident involving the same vessel earlier this year when it also ran aground but managed to free itself. Helberg humorously remarked about his unexpected neighbor, saying, "It's a very bulky new neighbour, but it will soon go away."
This spectacular incident has left the local community both amused and relieved that no one was hurt, while authorities work to determine the cause of the ship's unexpected shoreline detour.
