In a candid livestream amid the Arirang World Tour, 30‑year‑old V revealed that he has been treating hearing loss in one ear for over two and a half years.

He admitted that the issue had worsened during his mandatory military service, initially downplaying it as a mindset test before seeking medical help.

V said he was now on medication and visiting the hospital regularly as he prepared to finish the tour.

The disclosure came minutes after V’s bandmates wrapped concerts in Baltimore, where Jungkook talked about a shin injury that may turn into a stress fracture.
