US actor Chad Lowe and producer Kim Painter are in deep sorrow after the sudden death of their 13‑year‑old daughter Fiona.
In a statement to Page Six and People, the family described Fiona as “a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance.”
“She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives,” Chad said, adding that her passing is devastating for the entire family and asking for privacy and prayers.
The couple concluded their message with a reminder: If anyone is struggling with mental health, reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.
Chad Lowe, a brother of actor Rob Lowe, won an Emmy in 1993 for the TV series Life Goes On and has appeared in shows such as Pretty Little Liars and Supergirl. He and Kim have two other daughters, Mabel (17) and Nixie (10).
