Three people have been released without charge following the arson that killed the English family in Waterford. The victims were parents Philip and Kim English, and their children 9‑year‑old Jayden and 12‑year‑old Callum.

The Irish police had charged a man in his 20s and a woman in her 30s earlier in connection with the blaze. On Saturday, Gardaí announced that two women in their 30s and a man in his 50s who were arrested on Tuesday were freed.

A second man in his 20s, arrested on Thursday, remains in custody as police continue the investigation. The incident took place at Birch Avenue, on the outskirts of Waterford.

The tragic event has shocked the local community, and authorities are reviewing all available evidence to bring those responsible to justice.
