Daniela Largo, 32, was pulled alive from the rubble in Pereira 36 hours after a 7.4‑magnitude earthquake rattled western Colombia.
Rescuers had to dig two tunnels to reach her: one from above to supply oxygen, another from below to free her from four concrete slabs.
Firefighters, with support from teams in Bogotá and the national police, spent ten hours working to bring her to safety.
The quake caused at least 265 fatalities nationwide and left 496 people missing; the city of Cali recorded 95 deaths and Pereira 79.
President Abelardo de la Espriella posted on social media that the rescue "fills us with hope."
Experts say the epicentre was near San José del Palmar but the shaking was felt across the coffee‑growing region and beyond, producing more than 100 aftershocks.
