Trump's Health Report: Excellent Cognitive and Physical Condition Confirmed
White House physician reports on President Trump's health after a comprehensive medical examination.
President Donald Trump's recent health report following an annual physical at Walter Reed hospital has affirmed his strong cognitive and physical wellness. Dr. Sean Barbabella, the President's physician, noted that Trump, now 78, is in "excellent health" and remains fit to fulfill his presidential duties, despite being the oldest sitting president in U.S. history.
During the nearly five-hour examination, Trump was subjected to various tests including blood work, cardiac evaluations, and a Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), which he aced with a perfect score of 30. Dr. Barbabella's memo highlighted Trump's active lifestyle, which contributes positively to his health status, and reported minor skin issues as well as past scarring from a gunshot incident last July.
Trump's current weight is 224 pounds, down from 243 pounds in early 2019, placing him in the overweight category but not classified as obese. The report sheds light on Trump's regimen, including medications for cholesterol control and skin conditions, as well as ongoing public discourse about presidential health as his political rivalry with Joe Biden continues.
