In a recent lawsuit filed on Tuesday, four women, identified only as Jane Doe 1, 2, 3, and 4, accuse the celebrated singer-songwriter of sexual battery, including rape, and false imprisonment. The suit also alleges multiple labor violations spanning back to 2006. Robinson's attorney, Christopher Frost, labeled the claims "vile" and "false," asserting that the case is a misguided attempt to extort $50 million from the 85-year-old artist.

Known for classic hits like "My Girl" and "Tracks of My Tears," Robinson played a pivotal role in the success of Motown Records as both a performer and talent scout. His wife, Frances, has also been named in the lawsuit for allegedly contributing to a hostile work environment.

At a press conference, the plaintiffs’ lawyers described Robinson as a "serial and sick rapist," prompting Robinson’s legal team to criticize the media handling of the case as a "bizarre" publicity stunt. No criminal charges have been filed, and Robinson's representatives request the public to remain neutral until all facts are presented as they prepare to defend against the lawsuit and seek its dismissal.
