The flight experienced dangerous weather conditions on Wednesday night, resulting in injuries to eight passengers ranging from a two-year-old to adults aged 59, with three individuals requiring hospitalization. Ryanair has since apologized and arranged alternative transportation for affected passengers.

Eight passengers were injured on a Ryanair flight that diverted to an airport in southern Germany after experiencing "severe turbulence" due to bad weather, police reported.

Among those injured on Wednesday night were a two-year-old child who sustained bruising and a woman who received a head injury, according to Bavarian police. Three passengers were taken to a local hospital for treatment, while others received care on site.

Ryanair issued an apology to those impacted and indicated that the captain, prior to landing, called for medical assistance. The flight, originally scheduled to travel from Berlin to Milan, was safely redirected to Memmingen Airport, west of Munich, at 20:44 local time (18:44 GMT) due to the poor weather conditions preventing a landing at Munich Airport.

Local police mentioned that there were 179 passengers and six crew members aboard the flight, and all passengers were assessed for potential injuries. Following the diversion, Ryanair organized alternative transport to Milan on the same night, along with a replacement flight set for Thursday morning.
