The shocking event occurred on a Saturday afternoon, where a 37-year-old man rampaged through the market, reportedly shouting "Allahu akbar" during the assault.
Macron stated, "It was a terrorist attack, there’s no doubt — an Islamist terrorist attack," reflecting the government's firm stance to combat rising terrorism within the nation. The police have taken immediate action, stating they are investigating the incident under terrorism protocols.
