NEW YORK (AP) — A violent scene unfolded at Grand Central Station Saturday morning as three people were found stabbed, prompting a rapid police response that resulted in the shooting of a suspect on the platform. The New York Police Department reported receiving an emergency call at 9:40 a.m. regarding an assault. Upon arrival, officers encountered an armed man, who was subsequently shot. The exact number of gunshots fired remains unclear, but the suspect is in critical condition at a local hospital.
