UK‑Iranian dual national arrested over RAF Fairford released on bail
A 25‑year‑old man was arrested in Westminster on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts linked to RAF Fairford and has now been released on bail.
The suspect was taken into custody Thursday and searches of two Westminster properties have now been completed.
A major incident was declared and dozens of homes were evacuated after police were alerted to three “suspicious vehicles” near RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire last weekend.
Five other men in their twenties were also arrested and have been released on police bail. All five were UK nationals from London.
The investigation continues, police said.
