Cristiano Ronaldo and his long‑time partner, model Georgina Rodríguez, officially married during a civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, on 11 August 2026.
The couple celebrated the union by posting a photo of their joined hands, both wearing wedding rings, on Ronaldo’s Instagram account. The post received more than 3 million likes within the first half hour, earning the caption ‘Wedding of the year’.
The pair met ten years ago after a chance encounter at a Gucci store in Madrid while Rodríguez was working there and Ronaldo was playing for Real Madrid. They announced their engagement in August 2025, and their fifth child joined the celebration this week.
Throughout his illustrious career, Ronaldo has scored almost 1,000 goals while developing a global following across clubs such as Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, Al‑Nassr, and the Portuguese national side.
